MOVE ON TO BECOME A PADI OPEN WATER DIVER!
If you are currently holding the PADI 'Scuba Diver' certification, then now’s the time to upgrade to the full 'Open Water Diver. As a PADI Open Water Diver you get the opportunity to experience a lot more dive sites with a maximum depth of up to 18m. Also, it gives you further experience so you and your dive buddy can dive independently.
Upgrading from Scuba Diver to Open Water Diver:
This consists of completing the remaining 2 chapters of your Open Water Diver manual (or online version), chapters 4+5 plus the corresponding multiple choice quizzes and final exam.
Moving on to the equipment assembly and dive briefings you will complete the final 2 confined water dives followed by open water dives 3+4.
Once completed you will be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver which qualifies you to dive up to a maximum of 18m. Opening you up to a variety of new dive sites and recognised as an independent diver, which gives you the opportunity to dive alongside other qualified divers rather that a PADI instructor.
We can also upgrade divers with certifications from other diving organisations as long as you have proof of basic diving certification.
