The Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) rating sets you apart from other scuba diving instructors by showing the commitment you have in continuing dive training and being prepared to help others on their way to further their diving skills. You get to teach speciality scuba diving courses which in return gives you more fun while working.
As a PADI MSDT an employer would know that you have experience in teaching scuba diving and also have a range of specialities under you belt. This would generally make any dive centre more likely to offer you a position.
Having specialty instructor ratings such as night, wreck, deep, or any of the many other specialty courses we have on offer, makes you a sort after instructor by showing your true experience level.
If you've taught the required amount of courses, then its just a matter of 3-5 more days of training to get you up to the MSDT level. This can be completed on one of our IDC instructor development courses and includes a minimum of 5 Speciality Instructor qualifications.
