Travel the world diving the most exotic places and get paid for it! Once you become a PADI Instructor you have proved that you have the skills and adapted the PADI way of teaching.
This is the most distinct part of the IDC (Instructor Development Course); it introduces you to the entire PADI way of diver education and focuses on further developing your professional teaching abilities as a scuba diving educator.
The IDC will cover dive theory and practice exams, skill evaluation, the system of diver education via classroom presentations; you will be guided through confined and open water training dive presentations and finally an assessment of your rescue diver skills.
Throughout our training you will develop leadership skills and abilities by assisting our instructors with student divers.
This qualification is the most highly recognised worldwide and as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor it will enable you to work freelance or within a PADI dive centre teaching PADI courses whilst having the best training help and materials at hand.
After completion you will take the Instructor Examination (IE) with an official examiner direct from PADI.
Optional internships are available, which is the best way of learning leadership. Over the summer months you will take onboard all the aspects of working in a busy dive centre, learning the ropes alongside our experienced team of PADI instructors.
